Akiko Fukuda is appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Smart World Business, Business Solution Division of NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS in July 2023.

Akiko plays a pivotal role in NTT Smart World business expansion contributing to solve social issues and realize smarter world through co-creation with clients and partners.
Akiko has a track record of over 20 years, delivering transformation in NTT Group and launched e-commerce business in the early days of the Internet. Experiencing global business acceleration, M&A at NTT Holdings company, Akiko ran AI and Data Analytics business, and most recently has been Vice President of Smart Customer Experience Business at NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS prior to her current role.

Akiko holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Waseda University
